WELCOME
Mission Statement
Teaching the world how to love and appreciate music through piano lessons is our primary goal. Our program offers every student an opportunity to develop a lifelong skill which will enhance every aspect of their lives moving into adulthood. Learning piano improve a child’s performance in school which ultimately has a positive impact on our communities as a whole. We aspire to make the world a better place via piano lessons.
Purpose
We are committed to teaching students from the age of 3 through 93. We focus on fostering each student’s innate ability to learn music through ear training and musical techniques. Different styles of music are embraced during instruction; from classical to contemporary, gospel, jazz, rap, soul, and rock. We also teach concert and stage performance through recitals which offer students an opportunity to illustrate their new talents.
Goals
We aspire to successfully implement the John J. Pyles Piano and Music Program in all North and
South Carolina regions. We believe that if we build it, they will come. Our results oriented, value added,
in-home traveling music program is offered at an affordable price to everyone.
Studio Profile
John J. Pyles Piano and Music Program originated in Kechi, Kansas in 2000 and relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2007. This musical organization consists of students from a wide range of diverse nationalities and we are proud of our growth due largely to student referrals! Our lessons are offered year-round enabling our students to accelerate quickly in their musical education. Students learn their first chords on the second and even first lesson! Students are culturally enriched with the art of music through exposure to music theory and learning a wide variety of genres including blues, children’s songs, contemporary music, gospel, jazz, rap, soul, and even Disney-themed music. Recitals include minuets, interludes, folk songs, traditional, and classical pieces which are performed as solos, duets and instrumental ensembles.
